There are less than 10 lines of lyrics in Abstract Impressions (of you). We have been wondering if, in this era of information explosion, there could be something simpler, something that goes back to the essence of music. Something that is like Xuan's voice, offering a droplet of peace and calm as we exist in this huge and splendid torrent.

On the day of the underwater shoot, a light drizzle brought the temperature of Tamsui to 18°C. Everyone was in a jacket even when indoors. As we stared at the two-story-high water tank, cerulean and imposing, we knew that the day would pose lots of challenges to us, yet we had to take a gamble. Faye put up perfect performances in the three-meter-deep pool, time and again, even though she could not swim. We are grateful for her beauty and vulnerability, and grateful to the heavens for proving that we made the right gamble, yet again.
